Warehouse Coordinator
Job Summary of Warehouse Coordinator:
It is within your scope of work to execute a variety of warehouse duties, encompassing the selection, packaging, categorization, transportation, acceptance, and supervision of inventory quantities. Your main objective is to guarantee the precise and proficient fulfillment of orders while abiding by safety regulations and quality criteria.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Coordinator:
- Review manufacturing plans, customer demands, or shipping notifications to ascertain essential stock relocations.
- Relocate materials and products from production or receiving zones to assigned storage areas.
- Organize and classify items according to their Stock Keeping Unit, volume, and classification.
- Safely and efficiently handle electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts during operation.
- Effectively convey messages to receivers, drivers, check-in persoel, and forklift handlers.
- Comply with safety protocols during the loading and unloading of trucks and trailers.
- Take care of all company-provided assets, including protective clothing and voice-operated tools.
- Be sure to promptly communicate any safety concerns you notice at work.
- It is essential to wear the company-issued uniform as stipulated.
- Collect items requested by customers and get them ready for shipping.
- Affix labels to pallets as per instructions.
- Unseal bundles, cases, and vessels when required.
- Ensure that records of incoming and outgoing materials are kept up-to-date.
Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Coordinator:
- A GED or high school diploma is a prerequisite for this position.
- Equivalent to a mix of education and experience, one to three months of relevant training or hands-on learning is required for consideration.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience working with warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
