Job Summary of Picking Associate:

Your responsibilities will involve supporting warehouse operations through tasks like item selection, order packaging, product assembly, inventory sorting, order shipping, and delivery receiving. This role is fundamental in achieving the productivity and quality targets of the facility while ensuring seamless operations in a fast-paced setting.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Picking Associate:

• Examine production schedules, client orders, work instructions, shipping requests, or requisition forms to determine the specific items slated for relocation or gathering.
• Shift materials and items from delivery or production zones to specified storage areas.
• Segment and organize inventory by SKU, quantity, and product type.
• Employ the use of both an electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift for the transportation of products as necessary.
• Ascend up to 25 feet on a cherry picker safely harnessed for security.
• Optimize communication approaches to ensure effective interactions with individuals handling receiving, driving, and forklift operations.
• Practice safe techniques during truck and trailer pulling tasks.
• Arrange and position goods in specified warehouse locations.
• Handle the responsibility of company-issued equipment, such as PPE and voice communication tools.
• Voice out any safety-related worries in the work environment.
• Wearing the company’s official uniform is a requisite that should be followed diligently.
• Bundle customer purchases from the warehouse and make them ready for shipment.
• Label pallets appropriately and open containers if it aids in identifying them.

Qualifications and Experience of Picking Associate:

• - To be considered, applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED, or have undergone one to three months of relevant training or experience.
• Capacity for effectively using an electric pallet jack and upright forklift.
• Proficient in ascending to a height of 25 feet on a cherry picker, utilizing a safety harness for protection.
• Strong aptitude for teamwork and communicating proficiently.
• Skill in thriving in a fast-paced setting that involves physical demands.

Salary:

• Each hourly session is valued at $21.00
