Job Summary of Warehouse Maintenance Porter:

You are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse and office areas, ensuring that all areas are properly cleaned, organized, and ready for daily operations. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while also performing minor maintenance tasks as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Maintenance Porter:

• Perform sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming tasks to preserve the cleanliness of the floors.
• Collect and dispose of refuse, organizing it for the weekly pickup service.
• Keep restrooms clean and serviced on a regular basis.
• Maintain cleanliness by regularly cleaning walls, shelves, and equipment.
• Blend water, detergents, or acids to create cleaning solutions according to guidelines.
• Utilize professional cleaning tools to rejuvenate the insides of structures.
• Use solvents, brushes, towels, and mechanical cleaning devices to sanitize and remove dirt from different types of surfaces.
• Abide by the recommended cleaning and safety guidelines to ensure the preservation of floors and fixtures.
• Protect the building by securely locking all doors after business hours.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed, including using hand trucks.
• Keep managers updated on any significant repairs or system issues that require their immediate attention.
• Remove accumulated snow from walkways, driveways, and parking areas by using snow blowers or shovels.
• Coordinate the organization, assembly, and disassembly of event decorations, seating, and other elements.
• To use a Rider Jack, it is necessary to have experience or be capable of obtaining certification.

Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Maintenance Porter:

• - Candidates are required to have either a high school diploma or GED, or to have undergone 1-3 months of relevant training and experience, or an equivalent blend of academic and practical skills.

Salary:

• Salary Package: The hourly compensation for this position is $17.50
