Job Summary of Account Executive:

Partake in Sysco’s prestigious sales team, playing a key role in promoting Sysco’s offerings, establishing robust connections with new and current accounts, and meeting objectives for sales and profits.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Account Executive:

• Identify and pursue new business ventures, strengthen relationships with current clients, and reduce lost opportunities to achieve sustainable sales growth within the assigned region.
• Find and qualify prospects in accordance with Sysco’s account stratification targets.
• Assess the demands of clients’ businesses and suggest appropriate products and services to fulfill those requirements.
• Stay informed about market trends, advancements in products, and the products, pricing, and sales activities of competitors.
• Provide product education and training for customer employees.
• Attend customer accounts, conferences, and internal meetings by driving personal vehicle.
• Interact with clients to secure payments that are due.
• Organize shipments and troubleshoot any complications that arise throughout the delivery process.
• Engage in customer events, promotions, and functions organized by Sysco.
• It is valuable to be part of general sales and district meetings.
• Participate in continuous professional development sessions.
• Help new team members understand their job responsibilities through comprehensive training.
• Conduct administrative duties such as formulating sales budgets, maintaining records, and storing reports.
• Duties as delegated by superiors.

Qualifications and Experience of Account Executive:

• A background in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related disciplines is a prerequisite for this position. Alternatively, candidates can satisfy the qualification by holding a High School Diploma or GED and having three years of experience in Restaurant Management, B2B, or sales outside the office.
• Capable of speaking two languages fluently and skilled in managing restaurant environments, engaging in non-traditional food service sales, or working as a chef.
• An unblemished driving record, along with a valid driver’s license and existing auto insurance, are mandatory requirements.
• The employment requirements include participation in pre-employment assessments such as drug screening and background checks, as well as accepting the terms of the Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement.
• Fundamental computer literacy, adept in MS Office software, and proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
