Job Summary of Kitchen Assistant:

Ensuring that food items are prepared and cooked to meet high standards of quality, presentation, and food safety is the core responsibility of this role. It also involves keeping the work area tidy, adhering to recipe guidelines, and following safety measures to guarantee a safe kitchen environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Kitchen Assistant:

• Prepare food items as per established recipes and adhere to specific guidelines for plate presentation.
• Accomplish all necessary preliminary assignments in a timely manner.
• Prepare and arrange workstations as outlined in the instructions.
• Ensure that food is handled in a safe and hygienic manner at all times.
• Prior to starting work, during work hours, and at the conclusion of the shift, make sure to sanitize and tidy up the work area.
• Ensure that all assigned cleaning tasks for the day and week are completed.

Qualifications and Experience of Kitchen Assistant:

• Authorized under the law to work in the United States.
• Skill to stand without interruption for the duration of the work shift.
• Able to effortlessly manage loads of up to 30 lbs.
• Being 18 years or older is the ideal age group.

Salary:

The pay scale falls between $14.50 and $18.00 hourly
