Job Summary of Warehouse Order Processor:
You will be tasked with executing different warehouse operations, like selecting, packaging, categorizing, transporting, accepting, and supervising inventory quantities. Your main responsibility is to ensure the precise and efficient completion of orders while complying with safety regulations and quality standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Order Processor:
- Review production agendas, customer demands, or delivery directives to ascertain needed stock movements.
- Transport items and products from receiving or production areas to assigned storage locations.
- Organize and sort products based on SKU, quantity, and classification.
- Safely and effectively manage electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts during operation.
- Engage in efficient communication practices with recipients, drivers, check-in persoel, and forklift handlers.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols when loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
- Handle all equipment provided by the company, like personal protective gear and voice-activated tools, with care.
- It is important to report any workplace safety concerns as soon as possible.
- It is essential to wear the company-issued uniform as stipulated.
- Gather customer requests and organize them for delivery.
- Affix labels to pallets as per instructions.
- Unlock bales, boxes, and bins as appropriate.
- Keep accurate accounts of materials received and distributed.
Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Order Processor:
- This position mandates a high school diploma or GED for all applicants.
- The eligibility criteria include one to three months of pertinent training and experience, or an equal balance of educational qualifications and practical knowledge.
- Previous exposure to warehouse tools like pallet jacks and forklifts is a valuable qualification.
