Job Summary of Warehouse Logistics Associate:
Your tasks involve undertaking a range of warehouse operations, which include picking, packaging, organizing, transporting, receiving, and overseeing stock levels. This role focuses on ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of orders while maintaining safety standards and quality assurance.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Logistics Associate:
- Scrutinize production schedules, client demands, or delivery schedules to determine required stock movements.
- Relocate materials and products from production or receiving zones to designated storage facilities.
- Classify and break down items by SKU, quantity, and type.
- Ensure safety and efficiency when utilizing electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts.
- Promote effective dialogue with receivers, drivers, check-in operators, and forklift handlers.
- Uphold safety regulations for truck and trailer loading and unloading procedures.
- Properly maintain and handle all company-provided gear, including personal protective equipment and voice-enabled devices.
- Do not delay in reporting any safety concerns that may arise at work.
- Wear the uniform provided by the company in accordance with guidelines.
- Put together customer shipments and ensure they are set for dispatch.
- Mark pallets with specified identifying information.
- Unseal bundles, cases, and vessels when required.
- Keep precise documentation of received and distributed materials.
Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Logistics Associate:
- An individual must possess either a high school diploma or GED to apply.
- Applicants should have one to three months of pertinent experience and/or training, or a comparable amalgamation of academic qualifications and practical skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse machinery, especially pallet jacks and forklifts, is preferred.
