Job Summary of Warehouse Processing Associate:
Your job entails performing a range of warehouse activities, such as selecting, packing, sorting, shipping, receiving, and managing inventory quantities. The main aim is to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of orders while upholding safety protocols and quality standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Processing Associate:
- Examine production itineraries, client orders, or shipment requests to identify crucial inventory relocations.
- Transport items and products from receiving or production areas to assigned storage locations.
- Classify and break down items by SKU, quantity, and type.
- Use electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Promote effective dialogue with receivers, drivers, check-in operators, and forklift handlers.
- Practice safety measures while loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
- Use caution and responsibility when handling company-issued equipment, such as protective gear and voice communication devices.
- Remember to promptly inform supervisors or management about any safety concerns in the workplace.
- Adhere to the guideline of wearing the company-issued uniform.
- Package customer selections and get them set for transportation.
- Fix identifying labels to pallets based on given directions.
- Uncover packages, crates, and vessels as needed.
- Ensure that records of materials received and distributed are maintained with precision.
Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Processing Associate:
- Prospective candidates are expected to have a high school diploma or GED certification.
- The eligibility criteria include one to three months of pertinent training and experience, or an equal balance of educational qualifications and practical knowledge.
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, is a beneficial attribute for applicants.
