Day Warehouse Worker
Job Summary of Day Warehouse Worker:
You are responsible for performing various warehouse operations, including picking, packing, sorting, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This role ensures that orders are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Day Warehouse Worker:
- Read production schedules, customer orders, or shipping requests to determine necessary stock movements.
- Move materials and products from receiving or production areas to designated storage locations.
- Sort and break down products by SKU, quantity, and type.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with receivers, drivers, check-in staff, and forklift operators.
- Adhere to safety protocols for truck and trailer loading/unloading processes.
- Properly handle all company-issued equipment, including PPE and voice equipment.
- Report any safety concerns in the workplace promptly.
- Wear a company-issued uniform as required.
- Assemble customer orders and prepare them for shipment.
- Label pallets with identifying information when instructed.
- Open bales, crates, and containers as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of materials received and distributed.
Qualifications and Experience of Day Warehouse Worker:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, preferred.

Salary:
- Hourly pay rate: $19.00 - $20.00
