Overnight Cleaning Associate
Job Summary of Overnight Cleaning Associate:
Your primary duty is to maintain cleanliness in the warehouse and office premises to ensure they are neat, orderly, and prepared for daily operations. To succeed in this role, you must have an eye for detail, the capability to use cleaning tools and substances safely, and be ready to handle minor maintenance tasks as necessary.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Overnight Cleaning Associate:
- Make sure the floors remain clean by regularly engaging in sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Gather and discard garbage, consolidating it for the scheduled weekly removal.
- Keep restrooms clean and serviced on a regular basis.
- Regularly wipe down walls, shelves, and machinery to ensure a tidy setting.
- Combine specified amounts of water, detergents, or acids to make cleaning solutions.
- Make use of industrial cleaning machinery to renew the interior areas of buildings.
- Cleanse various surfaces by using solvents, brushes, cloths, and power cleaning machinery.
- Avoid causing damage to floors and fixtures by adhering to the recommended cleaning and safety procedures.
- Ensure building safety by making sure all doors are locked at the end of each day.
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed, including using hand trucks.
- Notify managers promptly about any significant system faults or repair work that needs immediate attention.
- Remove snow accumulation from walkways, driveways, and parking lots with the help of snow blowers or shovels.
- Manage the setup, layout, and removal of decorations, chairs, tables, and related items during events.
- Certification for operating a Rider Jack or relevant experience is required.
Qualifications and Experience of Overnight Cleaning Associate:
- - A high school diploma or GED is necessary for this position, as well as 1-3 months of relevant experience and training, or a comparable amalgamation of education and experience.
