Facility Maintenance Worker
Job Summary of Facility Maintenance Worker:
As the person in charge of cleanliness in the warehouse and office environments, you play a vital role in ensuring that these areas are well-kempt and suitable for daily operations. This position requires meticulousness and the ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, as well as to address any minor maintenance tasks that may arise.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Facility Maintenance Worker:
- Use cleaning tools such as brooms, mops, scrub brushes, or vacuums to tidy up the floors.
- Collect and dispose of refuse, organizing it for the weekly pickup service.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of restroom facilities.
- Preserve a neat environment by cleaning walls, racks, and equipment regularly.
- Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water, detergents, or acids in accordance with instructions.
- Rely on commercial cleaning equipment to revitalize the interiors of various edifices.
- Employ different methods such as solvents, brushes, rags, and mechanical tools to effectively clean a variety of surfaces.
- Ensure that floors and fixtures remain undamaged by following the proper cleaning and safety procedures.
- Implement security procedures by ensuring that doors are locked when the building is not in operation.
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed, including using hand trucks.
- Ensure that management is informed promptly about any major repairs or system complications that require addressing.
- Clear snow from pathways, driveways, and parking spaces using snow blowers or shovels.
- Establish, organize, and clear decorations, chairs, tables, and additional event paraphernalia as needed.
- Competence in handling a Rider Jack or the capability to obtain certification is a must.
Qualifications and Experience of Facility Maintenance Worker:
- - The basic qualifications for this role encompass a high school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months of related experience and training, or an equivalent fusion of educational and experiential learning.

Salary:
- Wages: Successful applicants will receive $17.50 for every hour worked
