Job Summary of Warehouse Logistics Worker:
Your role requires you to perform a variety of warehouse tasks, including selecting, packaging, sorting, transporting, receiving, and monitoring inventory. The primary goal is to ensure the precise and efficient fulfillment of orders while upholding safety protocols and quality benchmarks.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Logistics Worker:
- Analyze production schedules, client orders, or delivery requirements to establish needed stock transfers.
- Transfer goods and materials from receiving or production sites to designated storage locations accordingly.
- Categorize and segregate merchandise according to SKU, quantity, and category.
- Use electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Cultivate productive communication with receivers, drivers, registration persoel, and forklift operators.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols when loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
- Responsibly manage all company-issued gear, including protective equipment and voice-enabled devices.
- Immediately report any safety issues observed in the workplace.
- Make sure to don the prescribed uniform provided by the company.
- Arrange customer orders and prepare them for transportation.
- Apply designated information to pallets for recognition.
- Uncover packages, crates, and vessels as needed.
- Keep meticulous records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Logistics Worker:
- The essential requirement for this role is a high school diploma or GED.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience, along with one to three months of relevant training, is expected for applicants.
- Familiarity with warehouse machinery, especially pallet jacks and forklifts, is preferred.
