Job Summary of Warehouse Packer:
Your role requires you to perform a variety of warehouse tasks, including selecting, packaging, sorting, transporting, receiving, and monitoring inventory. The primary goal is to ensure the precise and efficient fulfillment of orders while upholding safety protocols and quality benchmarks.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Packer:
- Evaluate manufacturing agendas, client requests, or shipment instructions to identify crucial inventory transfers.
- Transfer goods and materials from receiving or production sites to designated storage locations accordingly.
- Classify and separate items by their unique SKU, total quantity, and type.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts in a safe and efficient maer.
- Facilitate clear communication chaels with recipients, drivers, check-in team members, and forklift operators.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols when loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
- Manage company-provided equipment diligently, including personal protective gear and voice communication devices.
- Make sure to report right away any safety hazards you come across in your workplace.
- Wear the uniform provided by the company in accordance with guidelines.
- Arrange customer orders and prepare them for transportation.
- Follow directions to label pallets accurately.
- Undo packages, containers, and cartons as needed.
- Record in detail all materials received and distributed.
Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Packer:
- An individual must possess either a high school diploma or GED to apply.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience, along with one to three months of relevant training, is expected for applicants.
- Having a background in operating warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, is a plus.
