Job Summary of Receiving Associate:

You will assist in warehouse support by conducting various duties such as selecting items, preparing packages, assembling products, sorting inventory, shipping orders, and receiving deliveries. This position is crucial in achieving the productivity and quality objectives of the site while ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced setting.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Receiving Associate:

• Assess production timelines, client orders, job directives, shipping schedules, or material requisitions to identify the items scheduled for transportation or collection.
• Transfer goods and items from inbound or production regions to specified storage locations.
• Organize and segregate products based on their SKU numbers, quantities, and categories.
• Move items efficiently by operating an electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift as needed.
• Employ a safety harness for protection when ascending up to 25 feet on a cherry picker.
• Facilitate effective exchanges of information with individuals in roles such as receiving, driving, and operating forklifts.
• Observe safety precautions for truck and trailer hauling procedures.
• Store and arrange merchandise in assigned warehouse zones.
• Be in charge of company-issued equipment, which includes PPE and voice communication tools.
• Flag any safety concerns to promote a secure workplace.
• Compliance with the uniform policy includes wearing the specific attire supplied by the company.
• Coordinate the collection of items from inventory and prepare them for shipping to customers.
• Implement markings for identification on both pallets and open containers as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience of Receiving Associate:

• - Eligibility for the role requires either a high school diploma, GED, or a brief period of relevant experience or training.
• Competency in utilizing an electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift.
• Skilled in safely operating a cherry picker to climb 25 feet, with the added protection of a safety harness.
• Capable of effectively communicating and working in a team setting.
• Ability to function effectively amidst the intensity of a swift and physically challenging workplace.

Salary:
