Cleaning and Maintenance Worker
Job Summary of Cleaning and Maintenance Worker:
Your primary duty is to maintain cleanliness in the warehouse and office premises to ensure they are neat, orderly, and prepared for daily operations. To succeed in this role, you must have an eye for detail, the capability to use cleaning tools and substances safely, and be ready to handle minor maintenance tasks as necessary.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Cleaning and Maintenance Worker:
- Employ various cleaning techniques such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming to keep the floors clean.
- Gather and discard trash, consolidating it for the scheduled weekly pickup.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in restroom areas.
- Ensure cleanliness by keeping walls, racks, and tools free of dirt and grime.
- Mix water, soaps, or acids to create cleaning solutions based on specified proportions.
- Make use of industrial cleaning machinery to renew the interior areas of buildings.
- Employ different methods such as solvents, brushes, rags, and mechanical tools to effectively clean a variety of surfaces.
- Observe the necessary cleaning and safety procedures to prevent any potential damage to floors and fixtures.
- Safeguard the premises by ensuring that all doors are locked outside of regular hours.
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed, including using hand trucks.
- Advise managers promptly about any significant repairs or system problems that need addressing.
- Remove snow accumulation from walkways, driveways, and parking lots with the help of snow blowers or shovels.
- Arrange, install, and take down decorations, seating arrangements, and other event essentials.
- Experience is preferred or the opportunity to be certified is essential for using a Rider Jack.
Qualifications and Experience of Cleaning and Maintenance Worker:
- - Essential prerequisites for this job include a high school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months of pertinent experience and training, or an equal combination of educational background and practical knowledge.

Salary:
- Wages: Successful applicants will receive $17.50 for every hour worked
