Warehouse Team Member
Job Summary of Warehouse Team Member:
As part of your job, you will be required to carry out a range of warehouse tasks such as selecting, packaging, organizing, delivering, accepting, and overseeing stock levels. This position guarantees the accurate and effective processing of orders while upholding safety protocols and quality measures.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Team Member:
- Examine production timetables, client requests, or delivery instructions to identify required inventory transfers.
- Transfer goods and items from designated storage locations to receiving or production areas.
- Arrange and categorize merchandise based on SKU, amount, and category.
- Execute safe and efficient operation of electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts.
- Establish clear communication with recipients, drivers, registration persoel, and forklift drivers.
- Follow safety procedures when loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
- Ensure the appropriate management of all equipment provided by the company, such as personal protective gear and communication devices.
- Immediately report any safety issues observed in the workplace.
- Adhere to the mandatory dress code by wearing the uniform provided by the company.
- Gather customer requests and organize them for delivery.
- Place identifying details on pallets as directed.
- Uncover packages, boxes, and receptacles as needed.
- Keep precise documentation of received and distributed materials.
Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Team Member:
- A high school diploma or its equivalent, a GED, is a mandatory qualification.
- A period of one to three months of relevant experience and/or training, or a comparable blend of educational qualifications and practical exposure.
- Previous familiarity with warehouse machinery, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, is advantageous.
