Job Summary of Warehouse - Night Porter:

You are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse and office areas, ensuring that all areas are properly cleaned, organized, and ready for daily operations. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while also performing minor maintenance tasks as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse - Night Porter:

• Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Gather and empty trash, consolidating it for weekly pickup.
• Clean and service restrooms regularly.
• Clean walls, racks, and equipment to maintain a clean environment.
• Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water, detergents, or acids according to specifications.
• Use commercial cleaning equipment to restore building interiors.
• Clean various surfaces with solvents, brushes, rags, and power cleaning equipment.
• Follow proper cleaning and safety procedures to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after operating hours.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed, including using hand trucks.
• Notify managers of any major repairs or system issues that require attention.
• Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas using snow blowers or shovels.
• Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, and other items for events.
• Must be experienced or able to get certified to operate a Rider Jack.

Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse - Night Porter:

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary:

• Hiring Rate: $17.50 per hour
