Job Summary of Warehouse Goods Handler:
Your job entails performing a range of warehouse activities, such as selecting, packing, sorting, shipping, receiving, and managing inventory quantities. The main aim is to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of orders while upholding safety protocols and quality standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Goods Handler:
- Study production plans, customer orders, or shipping mandates to figure out essential stock relocations.
- Transfer goods and materials from receiving or production sites to designated storage locations accordingly.
- Systematize and segregate products based on their SKU, quantity, and classification.
- Ensure the secure and effective use of electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts.
- Effectively convey messages to receivers, drivers, check-in persoel, and forklift handlers.
- Follow safety procedures when loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
- Take care of all company-provided assets, including protective clothing and voice-operated tools.
- It is important to report any workplace safety concerns as soon as possible.
- It is necessary to comply with the dress regulations by wearing the designated uniform.
- Arrange customer orders and prepare them for transportation.
- Put identifying markers on pallets according to guidance.
- Unfasten bales, boxes, and cases as necessary.
- Document all materials received and distributed with accuracy.
Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Goods Handler:
- This position mandates a high school diploma or GED for all applicants.
- The role calls for one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent blend of educational background and hands-on familiarity.
- Experience utilizing warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, is a valuable asset.
