Warehouse Handler
Job Summary of Warehouse Handler:
As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out multiple warehouse functions, such as selecting, packaging, categorizing, distributing, receiving, and overseeing inventory levels. Your primary role is to ensure the accurate and effective processing of orders while maintaining safety requirements and quality controls.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Handler:
- Study production plans, customer orders, or shipping mandates to figure out essential stock relocations.
- Shift materials and products from production or receiving areas to assigned storage places.
- Arrange and segment inventory by SKU, quantity, and product type.
- Perform the safe and efficient operation of electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts.
- Engage in efficient communication practices with recipients, drivers, check-in persoel, and forklift handlers.
- Observe safety precautions when conducting truck and trailer loading and unloading.
- Exercise proper care when using company-issued equipment, including PPE and voice communication tools.
- Do not delay in reporting any safety concerns that may arise at work.
- Ensure you are dressed in the company-issued uniform as per the requirement.
- Organize customer selections and package them for delivery.
- Put identifying markers on pallets according to guidance.
- Unwrap bundles, crates, and packages when required.
- Maintain precise records of the materials that have been both received and distributed.
Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Handler:
- A GED or high school diploma is compulsory for this opportunity.
- Applicants should have one to three months of pertinent experience and/or training, or a comparable amalgamation of academic qualifications and practical skills.
- Experience utilizing warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, is a valuable asset.
